STATEWIDE TRANSPORTATION PLANNING: SESSION #2: ISTEA: EXPERIENCES AND REAUTHORIZATION ISSUES

The purpose of the conference was to examine the state experience with Intermodal Surface Transportation Efficiency Act (ISTEA)-mandated statewide planning, and to discuss changes to the planning requirements in the forthcoming ISTEA reauthorization. The second conference session explored some of the issues that have evolved from the ISTEA planning requirements and identified key issues that should be addressed in ISTEA reauthorization.
