SEA ICE-75. ANALYSIS OF "SLAR" DATA
The purpose of this report is to present results, obtained from the analysis of "slar" (side-looking airborne radar) data. This experiment was conducted in the Bay of Bothnia during March, 1975. In an effort to help explain and understand some of the results, included are sections on the formation of sea ice and its relevant characteristics, the nature of radar return from sea ice, and sea ice parameters of interest.
