PROCEEDINGS OF THE 10TH CANADIAN SYMPOSIUM ON AIR CUSHION TECHNOLOGY
The present status of air cushion technology and its applications in Canada and the United Kingdom are examined. Developments discussed include hovercraft stability on water, skirt material wear at low temperature, and a U.S./Canadian full scale program on air cushion landing gear for aircraft. Applications described include overland transport and inland ferries, icebreaking, and marine operations.
