WATER SEAL FOR USE WHEN FILLING SHIPS TANKS WITH INERT GAS
VANNLAS TIL BRUK VED FYLLING AV SKIPSTANKER MED NOYTRALGASS
The seal consists of three passages or chambers, and is characterized by having the third and central chamber closed at the upper end but open to the chamber connected to the ship's tank. The system combines the advantages of a dry and wet seal: dry gas and greater safety.
