DEVELOPMENT OF BOREHOLE TV OPERATIONAL TECHNIQUES
An examination and evaluation of commercially available borehole television systems was made. Simulated boreholes were used as instructional aids for interpretation of texural characteristics and measurement of planner features. The simulated boreholes also provided controlled conditions to check accuracy and capabilities of the instrument. A comprehensive operational manual was developed, which includes a maintenance and trouble-shooting guide for the various video, audio, and mechanical components. /Author/
