CONDUCTOR TRAINING TAKES NEW TRACK AT CSXT
This article looks at an experiment to employ "new hire" freight conductor trainees from a college-based training program. The goal was to increase the number of people trained and reduce costs. Other benefits realized were: quality of new hires increased and improved training resulted in more efficient operation and a heightened emphasis on safety among the new hire.
