CRITERIA AND AUTOMATED LIMIT STATE DESIGN OF REINFORCED CONCRETE SLABS
Criteria for the limit state design of reinforced concrete slabs are discussed. A step by step long hand solution for a rectangular slab is given in order to explain the limit state concept. A general purpose computer program written in FORTRAN IV is included which calculates the required slab depth; the ultimate moments; reinforcement areas, diameters and spacings and crack widths in any specified direction. Appendix I gives the computer program and appendix II gives the sample output. /Author/TRRL/
