SPLIT-CYLINDER TEST AND DOUBLE-PUNCH TEST FOR TENSILE STRENGTH OF CONCRETE
This paper investigates the load strain behavior and ultimate tensile strength for both plain and polymer impregnated concrete cylinders subjected to split-cylinder load method and double-punch load method. These two testing techniques have been used frequently in practice for the determination of tensile strength of concrete materials. Behavior and strength variations in the two tests are described.
