COMPARATIVE APPRAISAL OF FEDERAL INVESTMENT FOR TRANSPORT INFRASTRUCTURES
VERGLEICHENDE BEWERTUNG VON VEKEHRSWEGEINVESTITIONEN DES BUNDES
From the planned provisions of the Federal budget, the authors examine the usual decision-making techniques: cost-benefit analysis, cost-efficiency analysis, and value analysis. They show the advantages of these techniques, determine the theoretical relations, and show how appraisal of infrastructure investments is carried out in practice. Examples of appraisals enable the reader to follow the reasoning and the phases of calculation.
