DEEPWATER PIPELINES: HERE'S A QUICK, EASY METHOD TO DESIGN
The article discusses the selection of suitable and economical pipeline coating weights and the determination of appropriate pipe wall thickness to preclude buckling during construction. Design charts are given for simplifying analysis on these two problems, and example results are given. Allowable water depths are considered.
