EFFECT OF ROLLING ON HEAT TRANSFER FROM CARGO OIL OF TANKERS
Experimental studies were carried out on the rolling effect upon heat transfer through the shell plating of an oil tanker. The results obtained are plotted in diagrams. Guidelines for design of heating coils, used to heat up oil at low temperatures to improve its flow characteristics, are given.
