OFF-SET GRADE SEPARATION - AN EXAMPLE BEING CONSIDERED FOR BELFAST OUTER RING ROAD
In urban areas it is often impracticable to obtain increased junction capacity by conventional widening or grade separation owing to the constraints imposed by frontage property and other factors. Off-set grade separation may, in such circumstances, provide a solution and this paper describes a scheme where such a technique is being employed. It will be of interest to the structural and traffic engineer but particularly to the urban road planner.(a) /TRRL/
