AN ECONOMY AIRPORT FOR SANA'A
Since September 1973, Sana'a the chief City of the Arab Republic of Yemen, has boasted an international airport worthy of the name. After some years of construction work, a complete airport had taken shape where only a more or less paved airstrip had existed before. Total cost was only DM 16.5 million. The project was financed in part by the Federal Republic of Germany.
