The World Bank, which helps to finance numerous major projects in developing countries each month, has so far taken little share in airport construction. In fact, it is only since 1971 that these transport facilities have had any part at all in the Bassh's activities. This article explains some of the reasons for this situation and describes briefly the three biggest projects to date: Nairobi Airport, Public of Kenya. Construction of a passenger terminal, a freight terminal, also aprons, taxiways, parking places, airport roads, tower, police and fire station, lighting, power supply, drainage, fencing. Dakan Airport, Senegal, lengthening of main runway plus lighting, two aircraft parking positions, resiting of localizer. Ixtapa, Mexico, creation of intrastructure for the establishment of a new tourist center in Ixtapa, including construction of an international airport.
