VIBRATION ANALYSIS BY HOLOGRAPHY
Holography applied to the vibration analysis of simulated axial-flow turbine disks illustrates the advantages of the technique in obtaining full-field modal and deflection information. A mechanical chopper acts as a strobe to increase interferometric fringe contrast at higher fringe orders.
