A QUICK ACTING PRESSURE REGULATOR FOR AN ANTI-LOCKING BRAKE SYSTEM
EEN SNELLE DRUKREGELAAR VOOR EEN NIET-BLOKKEREND REMSYSTEEM
An operational description is given of a brake pressure regulator which is utilized as a part of an anti locking brake system for motor vehicles. The regulator consists of an electronic controlled solenoid, a hydraulic rump, and a restriction valve. Wheel locking is prevented by operation of the solenoid, and the pump is required for the return of the brake fluid into the master cylinder of the brake system. The increase of the brake fluid pressure is controlled by the restriction valve and depends upon the contact between the vehicle tyre and pavement surface. A safety valve ensures trouble-free operation of the brake system. /TRRL/
