PRINCIPLES OF THE THEORETICAL TREATMENT TO VEHICLE-TRACK INTERACTION
GRUNDSAETZE DER THEORETISCHEN BEHANDLUNG DES ZUSAMMENWIRKENS VON FAHRZEUG UND FAHRWEG
The author explains the problems in the theoretical treatment of the complex physical system of rail/wheel interaction, by means of a system with 17 degrees of freedom, which makes it possible to predetermine the running and maximum speed of vehicles by calculation, based on given track and vehicle data.
