MARINE TRANSPORTATION OF LIQUEFIED NATURAL GAS

This study examines the seaborne carriage of Liquefied Natural Gas with emphasis on LNG carriers and its propulsion plant. Economic analysis of Shipboard Reliquefaction Plant and the selection of the optimum power plant for different size vessels was carried out with the use of the computer. Sensitivity analysis for speeds and fuel costs were also carred out to determine the effect on the relative change of RFR of the power plant. Sample inputs and outputs of the computer program are also included.
