ACCURACY OF MULTIPLE SENSOR TIME AND BEARING LOCALIZATION
The performance of various transmitter configurations which are used to localize the position of a ship are analyzed. The methods described in this paper can be applied to existing systems such as the Loran-C or OMEGA networks. They can also be used to predict the performance of a configuration prior to deployment and thus provide a means for comparing various proposed configurations.
