SEAWATER CORROSION OF WELD METAL
KORROSION VON SCHWEISSGUT DURCH DEN EINFLUSS VON SEEWASSER
Studies of the corrosion resistance of conventional filler metals are reported. A new laboratory test was developed, consisting in determining the corrosion behavior of materials and material couples on the basis of the formation of local elements. Using this method, it was found that the main cause of seawater corrosion of metal is the presence of various impurities.
