Includes discussion of bogie-suspension systems, comparison of 4 2h33l vs. bogie systems, locomotive design and relationship to track for determining speed limits. Part II which concerns fixed installations, discusses the theoretical and experimental solutions to the problems of track design for high speed operation. Note as these are records of working sessions, the papers are abstracted, and there are questions and discussion of many points raised in the meetings.
