DRIVING ACTIVITY : HOW TO IMPROVE KNOWLEDGE OF THE ENVIRONMENT

This paper describes a multi-sensor data fusion model that is designed to improve the perception of the surrounding environment while in a car. The focus of the Driving Assistance System is to improve driver passenger, and other road user security. This system is comprised of: a perception system with sensors, a dynamic data manger for sensor data fusion, and a situation diagnosis and decision module for real- time decision-making.
