Historically, each type of government agency - federal, state, county city, municipal - would do its own research, development, testing, and implementation. Partnership Minnesota's methods tear down those old paradigms by developing cooperative interagency programs and efforts better known as partnerships. These much less formal partnerships have saved the citizens of Minnesota hundreds of thousands, perhaps millions, of dollars. The ups and downs of developing and implementing these partnerships range from the very simple, to the very complex. The overwhelming bottom line, however, is that the outcomes - the savings of our scarce resources - make intergovernmental partnerships THE method of providing effective service to our customers
