TRACKING LANE AND PAVEMENT EDGES USING DEFORMABLE TEMPLATES

This paper describes how the Likelihood Of Image Shape (LOIS) lane detector has been used to detect lane boundaries in visual images pavement edges in millimeter wave radar images, and airplane runway tracking in visual or radar data. The paper also describes how the LOIS algorithm is applied to tracking lane edges through maneuvers such as lane changing.
