A VEHICULAR DRIVING ASSISTANT SYSTEM USING SPREAD SPECTRUM TECHNIQUES

This paper presents a vehicular driving assistant system that is applicable to a mixed environment. The system uses spread spectrum techniques and consists of several new systems such as PN code assignment system, new vehicle position systems, and a vehicle map update system. Wireless broadcast CDMA is used for inter-vehicle communications. The system is tested by using an autonomous traffic flow simulator including inter-vehicle communications.
