PATH PREDICTION AND CLASSIFICATION BASED ON NONLINEAR FILTERING

This paper describes a path-based filter which is applied to the model-based tracking of cars. Position measurements and the orientation of a moving car are using image processing. The filter estimates the velocity, acceleration and steering angle of the car.
