GPS-BASED CLOCK SYNCHRONIZATION IN A MOBILE, DISTRIBUTED REAL-TIME SYSTEM

In this paper, a vehicle tracking system is presented as an example of a distributed real-time system with mobile components. Tight clock synchronization is achieved by using the Global Positioning System (GPS).
