VISUAL ROUTINES FOR REAL-TIME MONITORING OF VEHICLE BEHAVIOR

In this paper, low-cost, visual modules for performing real-time computation of kinematic quantities that are useful in commercial vehicle navigation. The modules take video input and return instantaneous measurements for vehicle speed, lateral lane position and distance from preceding vehicle.
