VIDEO CAMERA METHOD FOR MOVING-VEHICLE LOCATION

This paper describes a method for determining vehicle coordinates during test track runs of light vehicles subjected to large roll maneuvers. Two strategically placed video cameras provide both location and rotation coordinates of a moving vehicle. The purpose of this technique is to provide periodic calibration data to compensate for inherent drift and inaccuracy.
