GREAT LAKES ORE CARRIER SERIES ICE RESISTANCE MODEL TEST PROGRAM. METHOD FOR PREDICTING LEVEL ICE RESISTANCE OF SHIPS WITH MAIN DIMENSIONS TYPICAL FOR THE GREAT LAKES BULK CARRIERS
This report contains a summary and conclusions from the ice breaking model tests of a systematic model series. The results of model tests are combined into one mathematical expression. With the expression it is possible to make ice resistance predictions for ships with different main dimension ratios and hull forms.
