AN ADAPTIVE SENSE AMPLIFIER FOR ENGINE CONTROL APPLICATIONS
The accuracy limitations of variable reluctance magnetic pick-ups can be overcome with the aid of a new monolithic integrated circuit. The new circuit, which uses a variable threshold sense amplifier and zero crossing detector, is described in some detail. Application to a microprocessor spark control system is described and interfacing techniques are discussed. /GMRL/
