This standard replaces NBN672-1968. The curves and tables used in the British zonal method and the Belgium specifications were revised by the technical Committee of the Illuminating Engineering Society with a view to correcting some inaccuracies which occurred during their use and because the asymmetry of light intensity distribution in relation to the original axis had only be corrected for the hypothesis of light intensity distribution in the longitudinal plane of linear lamps. /TRRL/
