STATISTICS AND SIMULATION APPLIED TO CIVIL ENGINEERING

ESTADISTICA Y SIMULTACION APLICADAS A LA INGENIERIA CIVIL

This book reproduces the reports presented at the course on statistics and simulation applied to civil engineering. It is divided into two parts: the first deals with the statistical theory most often used in simulation problems, the second examines simulation techniques. In part one, the laws of distribution and forecasting methods are applied to civil engineering phenomena and form the basis of part two on simulation. In the latter, simulation is applied to road and marine traffic. See also IRRD abstracts nos 103088 and /TRRL/
