WEED PROBLEMS YIELD TO INNOVATIONS
Vegetation management and total vegetation control are almost synonymous with railroad industry. A complete railroad vegetation management program must consider bridges, yards, road crossings, line-of-road and brush control. The predominant method of controlling vegetation is with herbicides. This paper provides information on some of the many new weapons to help control right-of-way vegetation.
