THE ADVANTAGE I-75 PROGRAM

This paper begins with a brief description of the ADVANTAGE I-75 Program. This is followed by a description of the Motor Carrier Project - Mainline Automated Clearance System (MACS). MACS will be the first implementation in North America of commercial vehicle automatic vehicle identification ( AVI)-equipped mainline preclearance and weigh station bypass across multiple states.
