GREAT LAKES SOCIOLOGICAL ASSESSMENT SURVEY: AN ANALYSIS OF THE IMPACT OF AN EXTENDED WINTER NAVIGATION SEASON UPON FOUR GREAT LAKES INDUSTRY GROUPS

Through questionnaire sampling of Great Lakes vessel, terminal, lock and pilot personnel, attempts to identify significant psychosocial problems and benefits of an extended winter navigation season on these personnel and to recommend measures to minimize the problems and maximize the benefits.
