AAMA PRESIDENT TALKS SAFETY
The article presents an interview with Andrew H. Card Jr., president and chief executive officer of the American Automobile Manufacturer's Association, on a variety of safety issues. Card discusses the safety hazards of sport utility vehicles, safety belt usage, the debate on air bags, and smart air bags. The results of a University of Michigan study that refute the danger of air bags are also presented.
