THE METHODS FOR TESTING OF ASPHALT MIXES DEFORMATION PROPERTIES
Standard tests of asphalt mixtures, their stability, flow and behavior under static load does not give the deformation characteristics for calculation of flexible pavement permanent deformation and rut depths. In this paper there are described two new devices developed at Research Institute of Civil Engineering in Bratislava for testing the resistency of asphalt mixtures against the permanent deformations. There are principles of method for calculation of permanent deformation on the surface of flexible pavements.
