EXPERIMENTAL TESTING ON BITUMINOUS DRAINING CONCRETE
Testing was aimed at ascertaining which experimental method is most appropriate for designing a draining concrete for the surface layer of a road pavement. The use of gap-grading on the aggregates and of binders modified with elastomers gives the mix mechanical characteristics which cannot be evaluated correctly by the usual testing systems.
