THE LONG TERM PERFORMANCE OF ZIMBABWE'S MAIN ROAD NETWORK
Zimbabwe's main roads have mostly exceeded their pavement design life. This paper reviews the country's main road practice, its development, and performance. From these it identifies probable causes, and suggests research areas which should lead to more rational and economic design practice.
