CEMENT AND CONCRETE TECHNOLGOY FOR THE CORROSION ENGINEER

Origin, production, composition, placing and curing, water content chemistry, physical properties, general durability of concrete are described. Aggressive materials that attack concrete are named and means of protection are listed. Corrosion of metals embedded in concrete is discussed briefly. Failure from excessive mechanical loadings is mentioned and probable future use explored.
