Results are presented of a survey into the effects of a limited entry policy for the underground railway. Reasons were the not paying passengers, the use of drugs and the lack of safety in the metro. Possibilities for the policy are the use of tourniquets, a better control of the tickets, automatic entree controle. The latter with a metro ticket with a magnetic strip. A study has been made for the development of such a ticket. For the covering abstract of the conference see IRRD 884059.
