KNOWLEDGE AND LACK OF KNOWLEDGE ABOUT PUBLIC TRANSPORT
KENNIS EN KENNISGEBREKEN ROND OPENBAAR VERVOER
In 1993 the Rotterdam Public Transport company has made a study into the level of knowledge of the public transport of the non-users and the sometimes-users. The level of knowledge was overall rather high. But a lot of these knowledge was false. False knowledge is predominantly pessimistic. The aspects of price and comfort are conspicuous. Marketing of the public transport should take these knowledge into account. For the covering abstract of the conference see IRRD 884059.
