SERVICE LIFE DESIGN
Setting the service life of a whole building, part of a building, building components and materials in the context of the present technical knowledge, and introducing the concept of service life into ordinary building design, are very complex issues in the building process. This paper introduces several recent approaches to the solution of durability/service life issues.
