MICROSTRUCTURE INFLUENCE ON PROPERTIES OF GYPSIFEROUS SOILS
The paper covers the research results on the gypsiferous soils with gypsum content varying from 5 to 50-75%. There have been distinguished 4 varieties of gypsiferous soils on the basis of combined criterion, considering gypsum content, gypsum cement type, character and degree of gypsum participation in the structural bonds formation. Nature of the structural bonds strength and gypsiferous soils collapse mechanism are scrutinized. (A) For the covering abstract see IRRD 881647.
