CAUSAL STRUCTURE ANALYSIS OF SOCIAL PSYCHOLOGICAL FACTORS AFFECTING RAILWAY WORKERS' SAFETY BEHAVIORS
This paper discusses the method of analyzing the causal structure of workers' safety behavior and social psychological factors influencing the safety of the railway workplace. 276 workers, including managers, of 7 railway track maintenance units were required to evaluate the safety conditions of their own workplace and their own safety behavior. 8 latent factors were screened out by exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis. To discuss the cause and effect relations between these 8 factors, several logically appropriate hypothetical models were adopted through high-order factor analysis and were verified by applying covariance structure analysis.
