A CONTRACTOR'S APPROACH TO IMPLEMENTING PROCESS CONTROL (WITH DISCUSSION)
Implementation of contractor process control is a major task facing the highway construction industry in the last decade of the twentieth century. Contractor development of an internal quality management process will be a necessity for survival into the twenty-first century. This paper describes the process of one company's approach to implementing process control. It includes why the process was created; how it was implemented and later modified; the current status, and a look into the future.
