A NEW NON-CONTINUOUS MICRO-WAVE TRANSMISSION SYSTEM FOR THE RAILWAY

The authors begin by comparing the possible working methods and available frequency bands for a non-continuous, high-capacity transmission system for exchange of information between the vehicle and the ground. They then discuss the selection criteria which led to the development of the SICARD-TCL micro-wave system. A technical description of this system is given at the end of this study.
