ELECTROCHEMICAL PREVENTION OF CORROSION AND FOULING - A REVIEW
The various methods used for preventing corrosion and fouling on board submarines and ship's heat exchangers and pipes are reviewed, with a view to understanding the advantages and disadvantages of each method, and to enable the most effective method to be used in combating corrosion and fouling. It is suggested that an electrochemical protection system is the best of the methods currently available for the prevention of corrosion and fouling.
