A STUDY ON MANOEUVRING MOTION OF AIR CUSHION VEHICLE

The hydrodynamic forces acting on an air cushion vehicle were measured in a constrained model test performed by a large amplitude horizontal planar motion mechanism. Based on this, simulation calculations were made to predict its turning performance. The results of the simulation calculation and full scale trials showed good agreement.
